Role Overview:
Aeva is seeking for a Director Automotive Program Management with 10+ years of experience in managing customer programs across the automotive product life cycle. You will be the central customer interface and lead cross-functional teams from RFQ-phase to product launch.  You will be responsible for managing Aeva’s deliverables according to technical customer requirements, schedule, cost and quality targets.

What you'll be doing:

  • Collaborate with customers and lead cross-functional Aeva-teams to provide on spec, on time and on quality delivery of products and services to customers
  • Track and ensure fulfillment of all customer requirements, milestones, and deliverables across product life cycle
  • Establish efficient interfaces and collaborate with internal and external partners from engineering, sales, quality, manufacturing, and supply chain
  • Manage multiple work streams and set the pace for development and delivery of Aeva’s products
  • Drive and implement customer change requests
  • Effective escalation and problem-solving of customer issues
  • Develop and prepare status presentations and tracking reports for Aeva and customer management

What you have:

  • BS/MS Engineering degree
  • 10+ years of experience in engineering program management, including customer facing roles
  • At least 5+ years of automotive program management at automotive OEM or Tier 1 supplier
  • Proven ability to handle ambiguity, work collaboratively with internal and external partners, and influence cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical and reasoning skills for technical and commercial issues
  • Comfortable communicating directly with senior executives and in fast-paced, sometimes unpredictable, environment

Nice to have: 

  • Engineering program management experience in ADAS or AD
  • Expert knowledge in automotive development process from RFI to PPAP
  • Experience and network with multiple automotive OEMs
