Role Overview:
As our new web designer, you will work on developing a new internal website and on enhancing our existing external website. You will work closely with our marketing team, project managers, and our external design partner to make what we have even better.

What you'll be doing:

  • Responsible for the development and support of all web-based applications, intranet, and internet-facing, including architecture and documentation.
  • Supports web application development to ensure that websites are built and maintained based on evolving technology and business needs.
  • Lead in code review and testing processes, ensuring good code coverage, documentation, and quality standards set forth by the PMO.
  • Manage web design workload; ensure abilities align with development requirements and monitor individual bandwidth to ensure all requirements are met in the most efficient manner and that all goals are met and adhere to approved business requirements.

What you have:

  • Experience with common web development languages, both client and server-side (e.g. HTML, JavaScript, Java, PHP, ASP.NET, .Net Core). Front-end JavaScript frameworks a plus (Vue.js, Angular or React)
  • Experience with API frameworks a plus (REST, SOAP, XML, Swagger)
  • Experience with backend support technologies (e.g. Microsoft SQL, MySQL, IIS, Apache, AWS, and Azure a plus)
  • Experience with application architecture, UI/UX, wireframes, and mockups preferred
  • Proficiency with GIT / Bitbucket
  • Strong understanding of Project Management principles
  • Ability to communicate effectively across a variety of teams in a fast-paced, complex environment
  • Willingness to contribute new ideas to the team and improve existing processes
  • Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced, complex, and rapidly changing environment
  • Build sites that interact with products like JIRA, Confluence, and other APIs
  • Understands LAMP stack and how to implement
  • CMS tools like Drupal and WordPress
  • Fundamentals of web security
