Role Overview:
We are looking for a Photonics Integration Engineer with cross functional expertise in delivering photonics to various product lines.

What you'll do

  • Deliver photonics for various LiDAR & sensing product lines
  • Experience with laser integration on chip including design trade offs, process flows, test and reliability
  • Experience with multi-channel, multiwavelength laser integration including single and multi-emitter configuration and corresponding photonics requirements
  • Experience with photonics packaging with electronics with an emphasis on advanced packaging technologies and flows
  • Define characterization of sub-components at module level and drive debug
  • Drive characterization of photonics to solve system integration challenges
  • Drive validation of photonics chipset through the product development cycle

What you have

  • 5+ years of experience with on-chip integrated lasers
  • 10  years’ experience with delivering integrated photonics chipsets to product
  • Experience with 5 years or more of photonics design, test, process, packaging
  • Experience working cross functionally to resolve challenges during product integration
  • Strong presentation, communication skills and results orientation
  • Experience with working with cross functional teams to deliver cutting edge products

Salary Range

$152,200—$205,900 a year

Salary pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, the successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on factors including job-related skills, experience, certifications, qualifications, relevant education or training, and market conditions. These ranges are subject to change in the future. Depending on the position offered, equity, bonus, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, pre-tax commuter and health care/dependent care accounts, 401k plan, life and disability benefits, flexible time off, paid parental leave, and 11 paid holidays annually.
